I apologize for the lack of posts in a while! But, I'm here to check in. Better late than never, right?
My curly routine is still just going along swimmingly, which is a large part of my lack of posts (the other part: grad school keeps me super busy!). I am still doing sulfate-free shampoos, thick conditioners, and my one true love, Suave Captivating Curls Mousse. I also added a new leave in, the It's a 10 Miracle Leave In. I'm liking it a lot so far, but I want to try the keratin version before I make a review of it.
Anyway, I would love some inspiration to get back into the blogging swing of things! So tell me, what do you struggle with the most with your curly hair or beauty routine?

That awful transition period between summer and winter hair/products.
My hair gets extremely tangly when I wash it, and it's hard for me to balance combing it through and then encouraging the natural curl. I like flipping my hair upside down after conditioning+combing to rinse out the conditioner while scrunching, but this automatically gives me knots at the roots when I flip it back. The same happens with scrunching, and it's annoying because I keep having to go back to detangle but then lose the curls that may have formed.
I meant to say the same happens when plopping, not scrunching!
how do you find the perfect combination and ratio for products??? I have such difficultly with this.
I am wondering about hair being overmoisturized. Is there any way to prevent that? And is it something only fine-haired curlies need to worry about, or can it happen to anyone, regardless of hair qualities?
Hi Daphna, I thought this was such a good question that I went ahead and answered it with a full post! Check it out! http://dormroomcurly.blogspot.com/2014/01/over-conditioning-what-is-it-and-how-to.html
Are you using a leave in conditioner? I find that they help keep my own tangles at bay
Check out these posts I've done that are relevant to this question!
