Can you recommend anything? Looking for CG method friendly!
Thank you for your wonderful blog! It's been SO helpful. I've been doing this for about a month-and a half, and finally starting to see results!Sarahnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8695190889191742742.post-32971670054593868662014-05-02T01:52:23.090-04:002014-05-02T01:52:23.090-04:00Hi Laura, Your hair looks absolutely great and per...Hi Laura, Your hair looks absolutely great and perfect to me !!! Thanks a ton for posting so much info about the CG method and the products. I started CG method last week. I know it might be too early to expect wonderful results, although I love the way my curls look but hate the frizz.. I get frizz on the crown and the canopy of my hair, which makes it look messy. I have few events coming up this month and would like to keep frizz at the minimum. Any tips for that ..or do you think I should just be patient and wait for a month or so. I am using Suave Naturals for conditioner wash and then Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Conditioner as Leave-In and then use KCCC gel and plop my hair for 20 min and then air dry and I think is my hair is wavy curly(2c/3a). any suggestions for me.
This pic is taken after washing, styling and air drying my hair.Meenoonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8695190889191742742.post-85020322580947207412013-02-13T14:49:10.816-05:002013-02-13T14:49:10.816-05:00Hi Diana! Check out the "My Hair Routine Part 1: Cleansing" post for more info, but I use a shampoo that is gentler than traditional shampoo because it doesn't contain sodium lauryl sulfate. I like the modified method because it means I can use products with silicones, which you can't really do with full on CG method. The Suave mousse has silicones in it, so it would probably cause build up in a conditioner wash only routine.

Basically, you choose the cleanser, and that tells you what you can easily wash out. Do you practice modified CG and is the Sauve captivating curls mouse CG? Still trying to understand all the ingredients to stay away from. Thanks!
